Formerly an architect, Albert Nichols was inspired to name the company after Elizabeth Wightman, his great-grandmother. In the 1800s, she founded a ranch in the Sierra Nevada’s, when neither grace nor style were required or desired.
The expanded elizabethW brand offers a wide range of gifts: from perfumes to pillow inserts, bath salts to candles, silk sleep masks to room diffusers.
Uniquely elizabethW, all items are designed by Albert and created by dedicated artisans, in small batches in our studio by the San Francisco Bay. We strive to source sustainable, quality ingredients and raw materials alongside the founder’s focus on originality and innovative design.
