Brass + Blade produces leather bags that are designed and hand-stitched one at a time in Oakland, California. From selection of the leather, to design and sewing, this is a one-woman operation. The natural qualities of the hides are highlighted, and often include brands and range marks. Since no two hides are exactly alike, no two bags that leave the studio will ever be identical.
Brass + Blade was born out of the desire to use my hands to make beautiful things that will improve with age. Choosing a handmade bag is choosing something that will last- and the longer you have it, the more it becomes uniquely yours.
