Lisa Fleming Ceramics is a sole proprietorship founded by the artist that creates one-of-a-kind porcelain forms. The purpose of the work is simply to delight. The forms are elegant and design driven, with a mid-century vibe. Their goal is to attract the eye, enhance a space or surface, add a pop of color and a bit of joy.
Each piece is created on a pottery wheel, trimmed, refined, bisque-fired to 1900 degrees, sanded, glazed and fired again to 2300 degrees. Each glaze is made by the artist in her San Francisco studio. New glazes and glaze combinations are periodically created and glaze experimentation is ongoing.
