DESCRIPTION:Bay Area Made member Concreteworks will open the doors to their spectacular 85\,000sf facility in a former steel factory on the waterfront in Alameda for our 2nd annual Where Craft Meets Innovation: A Market & Showcase.  \nThis unique hybrid of a market and showcase will provide an opportunity to experience over 40 of the Bay Area’s finest makers.  \nThe Market will include apparel & accessories\, body & bath\, food & beverage\, and home & garden products. Staged in a loft-like setting\, the Design Showcase will feature a curated selection of home & garden products – all made in the Bay Area! \nConcreteworks will be offering factory tours of their facility and their innovative concrete fabrication methods. \nTo sign-up for a factory tour\, get your tickets here.\nWe are thrilled to be partnering with Wescover – the international platform for discovering and connecting with creatives – on the Design Showcase. \nThe showcase will be curated by San Francisco interior designer Katie Storey\, founder of Storey Design and the GFDA (Good Future Design Alliance) – a new community of design leaders advocating for sustainable practices. \nJoin us to experience the “best of locally made” and chill in an outdoor lounge with delicious Mexican fare from Oakland food truck COOL!NARIA! \nRegister to attend here.\n\nAbout Concreteworks:\nFounded in 1991 by Mark Rogero\, Concreteworks creates concrete furniture\, countertops\, sinks\, tubs\, water features\, fire pits and architectural elements utilizing cutting edge concrete fabrication techniques. In addition to residences\, offices and retail spaces in the Bay Area and beyond\, they have completed projects for restaurants\, bars\, cafes\, wineries and resorts including: Nopa\, Michael Mina\, Pizzeria Delfina\, Outerlands\, Saltwater Oyster Depot\, Bar Agricole\, Sightglass Coffee\, Samovar Tea\, Stag’s Leap Winery and Solage Resort.
